Nose Procedures
The surgical alteration of the nose – known medically as “rhinoplasty” – is considered one of the most complicated procedures in the cosmetic field. To restructure the inner workings of a patient’s nose, a surgeon must possess both well-honed technical skills and extensive knowledge of up-to-date techniques and technology. They must also understand the individualistic nature of rhinoplasty and be able to tailor the procedure to the patient’s unique needs.
As a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, Dr Vlad Milovic has dedicated much of his career to performing nose surgery. If you are interested in altering the appearance of your nose, addressing certain breathing concerns, or achieving a combination of both, we welcome you to schedule a consultation with Dr Milovic.

All risks, potential benefits, and other aspects of the procedure will be explained in detail during your consultation with Dr Milovic. Please contact our practice for more information.
Rhinoplasty
To create a customised rhinoplasty treatment plan, Dr Milovic studies the natural curves and angles of the patient’s face and takes several key factors – such as the patient’s ethnic background, gender identity, and aesthetic preferences – into account. After this initial evaluation, he can apply surgical methods to alter the nasal bones and cartilage.
As mentioned above, rhinoplasty can also address respiratory and breathing problems, namely the very common “deviated septum.”
Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty
Ultrasonic rhinoplasty (also called “Piezo rhinoplasty”) is a rhinoplasty technique that was originally popularised in Europe. Whereas traditional rhinoplasty involves the use of conventional surgical tools to break and reshape the nasal bones, ultrasonic rhinoplasty employs a specialised tool, the Piezoelectric wand, which emits ultrasonic waves. This energy is generally able to restructure bone and cartilage more precisely than what is possible with the traditional rhinoplasty technique. In addition, because no bones are broken, the opportunity for soft tissue trauma is greatly reduced and recovery is often less lengthy. Please note that not every patient will be eligible for ultrasonic rhinoplasty if their goals require an alternative surgical method.
